
All entries will be reviewed by special guest judges: Lisette Diaz (author), Jan Eldredge (author), Sarah Allen (author), and Victor Davila (illustrator). Published selections will be in print and online, and their authors/artists invited to a reception for a live presentation of their creation. A commemorative magazine will be made available at the Osceola Library System and a digital version available on BiblioBoard. One winning artist will have their art featured as the magazine's cover! Published within the magazine will be the written and art selections chosen by our guest authors. All other eligible entries will be included on BiblioBoard within Osceola Library's Community Collections.

Open to kids and teens ages 8-17. Submissions will be accepted from January 1-31, 2026, and can be up to 1000 words in length.
No submissions will be accepted after January 31, 2026. Submit your original piece of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or art via BiblioBoard.
