Submit your original short story, poem, and/or artwork for a chance to be featured in LitMag, the Osceola Literary Magazine. This year's theme is Unlikely Friendships! Let's explore unlikely friendships! Maybe you've seen two unlikely animal pals, read stories of celebrity "frenemies" who are actually "besties," or saw a chance meeting that turned into a special relationship. Use your wonderful imagination or scenes from your own life to tell your tale through stories, poetry, or art. Open to kids and teens ages 8 to 17.

All entries will be reviewed by special guests. Published selections will be in print and online, and their authors or artists invited to a reception for a live presentation of their creation. Submissions will be accepted from March 1, 2024 through March 31, 2024 and can be up to 1000 words in length.
No submissions will be accepted after March 31, 2024. Submit your original piece of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or art via BiblioBoard.
A commemorative magazine will be made available at the Osceola Library System and a digital version available on BiblioBoard. One winning artist will have their art featured as the magazine's cover! Published within the magazine will be the written and art selections chosen by our guest judges. All other eligible entries will be included on BiblioBoard within Osceola Library's Community Collections.
