Celebrate National Novel Writing Month with OsceoWriMo! Use the pre-selected writing prompt in your genre of choice to create a short story for a chance to win a $25 gift card. Submissions accepted through November 30. Multiple submissions permissible with up to a 2500 word limit each.

You must submit your short stories as a PDF file.  

Instructions for Converting a Word Document to PDF

If you have saved your work as a Word document, there are a few ways to convert your file to PDF.

  • Go to file, select "save as Adobe PDF", or
  • Go to file, select print, next select "Adobe PDF" as the printer, or
  • Go to file, select Export, next select "Create Adobe PDF"


The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and will be notified via email on Friday, December 6, 2024.
